Storybook Children's Center has been a family owned and operated child care center since August 2002. Originally opened in the Fox Chase section of Northeast Philadelphia , Storybook is now located in Horsham, PA. We have always provided families in our area with excellent childcare. We take pride in caring for our families and their children in a way that only a small family owned child care center can. Storybook has always made safety and security a top priority. When you enter Storybook's lobby, you will be greeted by a staff member stationed at the front desk. In order to enter the child care area, the staff member must check that you are approved to enter our facility. You may be asked to provide a photo ID before entering. Once approved, the staff member will allow you to enter the child care area that is equipped with a lock and buzzer system. There are two rear emergency exits which are not accessible through the classrooms. Each exit door is equipped with an alarm which will sound when the doors are opened. In case of an emergency, Storybook Children's Center has prepared an emergency plan which includes “Severe Weather Events”, “Fire”, “Loss of Utilities”, Hazardous Material Incident”, “Building Intruder or Suspicious Activity” and “Medical Emergencies”.
